T.J. Grzesikowski:
All American

For the third time in four days, Ferrum punter T.J.Grzesikowski has been named to an All American team. T.J. was bestowed the title of 1st team All American by the American Football Coaches Association this past Wednesday when they released their selections, and was selected as a second team All American by the Associated Press in the Little America poll released on Thursday. This poll combines Division II and Division III selections.

Today D3 football.com released its 2008 All American team prior to the start of the Division 3 National Championship game between Mount Union and University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Again Grzesikowski was recogonized, this time as a third team All American.
T.J., a sophomore from Seminole Florida, averaged 4.7 punts per game, and totalled 2059 yards for an average of 43.81 yards per punt. His longest punt of the season was 63 yards. In addition to those impressive numbers,
Grzesikowski was able to launch 9 punts over 50 yards, and landed 15 punts inside of the opponents 20 yard line.

T.J. was consistently ranked high nationally in the punting category, (never lower than 10th nationally in week 2) and achieved top ranked status in week eight ironically when Ferrum had an open date. He maintained that ranking the remainder of the season.

Congratulations T.J. on an outstanding season!
