GAMEDAY: And the Rest of the Conference

Keep a close eye on CNU today as they host Hampden Sydney College. The Captains started their year with a win over nationally ranked Salisbury, and will look to maintain that same momentum at home.

Here is how I see the rest of the USA South teams today: (Bold team is winner)

RMC at Averett

Guilford at Methodist

Bridgewater @  Greensboro

So. VA @ NC Wesleyan

LaGrange @ Millsaps

Maryville @ Emory and Henry

Hampden Sydney @ CNU

Huntingdon @ Mississippi College

  1. What happened to FC??? SU was for real and they sent the panthers to another lost. I was glad that new sideline boss for SU got his first one, but I have to ask this. Is this going to be a deep down year for FC?? What I mean is that when they won in 2005 and made the playoffs the next year they finished 2-7. I have a friend who worked on the staff that year and told me that they had 10 games schedulded but one call us and told us we were being dropped due to a scheduling conflict. I don't understand how FC is calling their plays this year?? I thought they hired a real OC??? I guess not! I don't know them but have to wonder has it always been like this?? Has the offensive been shaky and the defense that bad??? I have seen their schedule and the next 2 games should be hell for them and being 0-2 doesn't help. I know that conference doesn't begin until the 4th game and if they lost next week that 4th game could mean everything!! Its one thing to lose but when you start losing and can't stop losing your players start thinking who cares, and stop trying!! Good luck to FC because they will need all of it!!!!
