Ferrum @ Methodist

While neither team is having a great year, Methodist seems to hold an edge in most statistical categories, but in most cases, it's a slight edge. Look for Ferrum to continue their option oriented attack, and look for quarterback Troy Helton to likely cross the 1000 yard rushing mark.

This will give the Ferrum faithful something to cheer about. While I think this is a game Ferrum can win, it presents a different task than LaGrange. Look for the Methodist offense to have a more balanced offensive attack. They can run and pass, and seem to use both fairly equally.

Things that concern me are that they beat Randolph Macon, and only lost to Maryville by 6 points. Averett's only win to date came against Methodist, but Averett is much better than their record indicates.

For Ferrum to win, they must pressure the quarterback, and stop the Monarchs running game. Offensively, Ferrum will have to see continued strong play from their line, and  likely pass more than usual.

I am hopeful, but doubtful on this one.
