Hope!

 There is one thing I rely on when watching any of my favorite teams play.............Hope.

I always start out hoping my team wins. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't, but I always hope.

I hope they get a score to win the game, whether it be a touchdown, a last second basket, or a walkoff homer. 

Finally I hope that in defeat my team can come back to the next game with lessons learned and an improved skill set to make the next game their next win.

This is football season, and I am at a loss for words as to what to write. Its going to be a different fall for sure, and I am stumped as to what to say. For a long while, I hoped that this virus would subside and college life and sports would be unaffected.....unfortunately, that was not to be. The hope was not enough, and now we are looking at football as a spring sport for this year. I hope it works out, but I fear that the virus will have strong affects on college campuses nationwide. I hope I am wrong. I'm not sure when or if the season will be played, but I will be waiting for an announcement and hoping it is sooner rather than later that we can see the Panthers on the field.
