Keys to Another Successful Season-
Offensive Line

After producing a very strong rushing offense that ended the season ranked 14th in the nation, Ferrum must focus on rebuilding it's offensive line if it wants to replicate the same efficiency. Graduating from the O-line are starters Jack McDowell, and Michael Walker. Senior Ivan Eames is also graduating. Sources indicate that starter Zach Bossio will not be returning.  While the roster showed a good amount depth at the O-line, it was reported to me that 6 freshmen from last years O-line...all back-ups, will not be returning. This will place a burden to almost develop an offensive line from the ground up. Players that saw some action include Avery Long, Taylor Mendler, Joe McDonagh, and Travis Johnson. Starter Cameron Bailey is expected to return. Depending on recruiting successes, look for some D-linemen to be transitioned to the offensive line as possible starters or back-ups.
With a new starting quarterback, Ferrum's offense will have a great deal of inexperience to contend with. This problem will improve as the season progresses, but I would think a slow start offensively is possible.
