2021 Predictions

 As I understand it, the ODAC came out with conference predictions today.  I always try to make my predictions before the conference announces theirs and while I am not before them, I still have not seen or heard their predictions.....So here I go. With very little to go on but a season that did not include all of the teams, nor a full slate of games, I will try to put forth how I believe the season will go. There is one caveat to the predictions. There will be 8 teams listed, but Emory and Henry will not be awarded a "place" in my poll as they are leaving the ODAC and will not be eligible to win the conference. They will be inserted based on where  I think they will finish, but the schools will only be ranked 1st through 7th.

2021 Season Predictions

7th  Guilford Quakers

6th  Shenandoah Hornets

Emory and Henry Wasps

5th   Ferrum Panthers

4th Bridgewater Eagles

3rd Washington and Lee Generals

2nd  Hampden-Sydney Tigers

1st  Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets

Well there it is. The way I see the season ending. Look for it to again center around "The Game" R-MC vs. H-S at the close of the season. There are plenty of good teams that can contend....yes even Ferrum, but the Panthers will have to start strong as their conference schedule will start against Randolph-Macon, at W.B. Adams Stadium.
